Our Founders

Jim Miller is one of the founding members of Bluebonnet Scottish Society and has been chief for all but one of those years.He had a vision, of an organization that would be fun and a place for all who wanted to join in and help build that vision! A Scottish Society that would welcome all the clans. The vision was Bluebonnet Scottish Society. Jim loves his Scottish heritage and all the people he comes in contact with. He promotes Bluebonnet all the time.

Recently he fulfilled one of his dreams; he play golf in Scotland, an experience of his life. Just ask him to tell you about it. He is working on taking a group to Scotland to play at St. Andrews.

He is always involved in society and scottish activities. He loves the picnics, cooking and talking to all the people. HE IS A PEOPLE PERSON and
Wears his tartan with pride.

Anna Miller, Jim's lovely wife, is the heart and soul of our organization. She is one of the original founding members, and the driving force behind why we have our great little group to this day. Anna's devotion to her heritage is quite remarkable. Anns stays busy organizing our St. Andrews Dinners each and every year. Anna shared in Jim's vision of building a society where all are welcome, no matter your clan or you celtic nation you hail from, she believed in promoting membership with open arms. To this very day Anna will still great you with a hug and a heart felt hello.

Anna is a member of Clan Ross. She has made several trips to Scotland and loves to share the stories of her travels.

Anna Miller you are our backbone for all the time and effort you expel into our group we want to thank you for being you.
